Good evening, This shall be my first post to the KLF mailing list :) I tried to join up years ago, but it wouldn't let me. I tried again, but still the mailman software barred my way. Now I am signed up, hopefully the mailing list has not dried up. I look forward to talking to you all, John Lunney
Hi John! Make yourself at home. We have not dried up yet, infact there is some interesting stuff on the way: - Transit Kings EP (Cauty/Paterson) - Transit Kings Album - KLF vs Germany series - Wild Highway (Drummond/Manning) - ... Not bad for a mailing list about a band that split 13 years ago. ;-) ..::// Thomas Touzimsky "My head is spinnin' so my feet don't touch the ground My eyes is blinded by the light, my hearing deafened by the sound My body's shackin' like a leaf, my heart's been beatin' out of time My blood's been boilin' up inside and I've been fearin' for my life..."

not to mention 6 hours of delicious film footage from bill's recent trip to estonia... wonderfully illuminating and yes... welcome aboard! love peace and happiness tim [e lord] "when the mood of our music changes... the walls of their city will fall"
Andrew pondered:
And where might this interesting thing be found?
Gimpo filmed it... he and John Hirst are editing it at the moment... my reasonably well educated guess is that it'll be shown at some festivals this year The Greenbelt festival in Cheltenham 26 - 29th August is a good bet Gimpo and i have also shown the "Watch The K Foundation Burn A Million Quid" film at two private events / parties recently... the organisers perform a live soundtrack which we film... if anyone is interested in organising their own event / party then contact me off list love peace and happiness tim [e lord] "when the mood of our music changes... the walls of their city will fall"

Whatever became of Gimpo's thoughts about releasing a DVD of the footage? ..::// Thomas Touzimsky "My head is spinnin' so my feet don't touch the ground My eyes is blinded by the light, my hearing deafened by the sound My body's shackin' like a leaf, my heart's been beatin' out of time My blood's been boilin' up inside and I've been fearin' for my life..."
Thomas mused:

still very much part of the objectives... and the footage from the private showings are a part of that evolution too... [depending on their frame of mind] gimpo wants bill and jimmy to see all the films and to choose one [or however many] they feel best answers the question they posed when they burnt the money the chosen film(s) will then feature on the dvd alongside the original... but hopefully it will not end there as inside each dvd will be an "i could fuckin' do better than that!" postcard invitation and so it keeps evolving and if nothing else gimpo and i get to go to shed loads of parties lol love peace & happiness tim [e lord] "when the mood of our music changes... the walls of their city will fall"
Welcome John You can look forward to talk about runout grooves, bootlegs, what Jimmy is doing, what Bill is doing , asking where the ftp is and if Love Trance is real or not. All good stuff & a great bunch of people. I've been here for a few years now & no intention of leaving. I only lasted a week on the Orb list. All this sounds very exciting! Especially 6 hours of video :D I love to add to my KLF collection. With regard to the FTPs, I was trying last night to get on, to see if they had The White Room (the video), I thought I saw it there before, but I couldn't get into the servers. As for Love Trance... Hm. I don't know. I've had my doubts about it. I think I come down on the side of it not being real, but only just. Where are you folk from? I can tell from some of your email addresses. I'm from Dublin, in Ireland. I wonder if there are any other people from the Jaded Isle on this list :) John http://johnl.org PS: What's oink.me.uk ?
I run the KLF FTP. It has all the KLF material plus lots of other goodies. Here is the info: log/pass = KLFTime Address = renigademain.dyndns.org I have 4 slots available on the ftp, but I can open a few more for others to get on. Enjoy! Thank you very much sir! I got in, the address is different than the one on KLF.de, so the domain name I had wasn't resolving. Perhaps the page on KLF.de could be updated to take note of the new domain? Thanks again, John On 24 May 2005, at 00:47, RMStringer wrote:

Hello A very good friend of mine will have his holiday in July in Great Britain, and he'd also like to check out some quality record shops (for example Sister Ray, if it's in London). If anybody has some ideas and addresses, I'd be glad to send him the details. He's mostly interested in indie/goth music (Swans, Death In June, Laibach, Current 93, Patti Smith, etc etc etc).
