it's hard to tell from that description, but either it's this: http://www.digitalvillage.co.uk/aproduct.asp?productid=2339 a software synthesiser that recreates the old Yamaha FM synths (think Stock Aitken Waterman's early work) and runs inside a software sequencer like Cakewalk or Logic Audio, OR it might be a disk that contains programs for use with for use with that.

Also, I need a prog that I can use to split an AVI n to 2 parts. Can some one make suggestions as to what I need to get? Thankx

Adobe Premiere can definitely do it, Quicktime Pro probably can. - Andy_R
