Rather reminds me of the kind of guff that is sometimes spouted about the "spiritual" and "magical" side of the Nazi regime (hello Crispian Mills) as if that's some excuse for committing genocide.
the supposed nazi occult practices/worship etc. have never been touted as an EXCUSE for "genocide" but the CAUSE now, what's the russian "excuse" for their german genocide during that same war? and how about the amerikan's "excuse" for their german and japanese genocide? (and for that matter, north amerikan aboriginal genocide?) the truth of the matter is, the nazi regime didn't just go after ONE particular race (look up the actual history - the "holocaust" didn't affect persons solely because of race, but also religion/philosophy and "lifestyle") so if you think about it, the nazis were actually less genocidal than the amerikans, who WERE interested in killing solely based on race HOWEVER, "less genocidal" certainly does NOT translate into not guilty of murder as far as I'm concerned just didn't think germans should get all the genocidal blame /anti-war rant
