"Manta Manta" soundtrack
Hi, I was wondering if any German list members could shed some light on the "Manta Manta" soundtrack CD (released in 1991), which I notice is on e-bay at the moment for 41 Euros. It contains "LTTT" on the soundtrack - but Lazlo's discography doesn't mention it. What is the film about? Was it particularly famous in Germany? Also, what version of "LTTT" is on the soundtrack - not KLF8T?! ;-) John PS - Apart from their own projects, is this the only time a KLF track has appeared on an OST?

FreeDB knows this disc: http://www.freedb.org/freedb/misc/e50f0311 IMDB knows the movie: http://us.imdb.com/Title?0102397 A "Manta" is a car model from Opel/Vauxhall/GM which is cult. The main website seems to be http://www.mantaclub.org/ There is even a scotish fanclub: http://freespace.virgin.net/robert.crow/ ;-) In Germany we had two Manta-Movies in 1991, one was called "Manta, Manta" and the other was called "Manta - Der Film" (Manta - the movie). Both dealed with girls and Golf GTIs (the enemy of every Manta build by Volkswagen) and there was always a race but I don't remember any details. Both movies are not very sophisticated and deal with plain stereotypes. And I don't know how the KLF track comes to this soundtrack .... maybe background music in a disco scene .... ;-) Greetings Oliver Paukstadt +++LINUX++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +++Manchmal stehe ich sogar nachts auf und installiere mir eins....+++++++ ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
As far as I remember (I thought this movie was shit), the track was actually featured in a disco scene (near the end of the movie). And it was the 12" Version of Last Train to Trancentral (Live from the Lost Continent). So nothing particularly exciting.
