The White Room demo cassette
I used to have a copy. I got it from a second hand record shop in Dundee in 1995. The paper cover was yellow, with a cartoon of the KLF on the front - the same one of them in their "It's Grim" jackets that's on some of the "This is What the KLF ..." videos you see on e-bay. The tape itself was a BBC cassette (I don't think the BBC makes blank tapes any more), with nothing written on it. Obviously a boot, but I have no idea where it came from. It was part of a huge lot of KLF items, including Pete Robinson's book, "The What Time is Love Story" LP, "Madrugada Eterna" 1-side 12", and "1987", which had just been handed in. One side of the cassette contained shaky versions of the "White Room" demos, in the same order as all the "White Room" soundtrack CDs. The second side included "3 AM Eternal (SSL Demo)", "It's Grim Up North (028T mix)", "KLF DMC Minimix", "What Time is Love? (Wandaful mix)" and various "What Goes On?"s. John Not Scots, just Scott-ish
Mine's a studio cassette - can't remember the studio. C46 witha black & grey card insert with a palm tree on it from vague memory. Track details are type written on. I'll let you know when I get home. (if I ever escape from work) Andy
Tape details as promised - The inlay is pre printed from the Master Room 56 Riding House Street London W1. 10 Tracks. Titles and running times heavily typed on the front and inside cover. The tape is a TDK SA X 60. Over & out Andy Ps While looking for the tape I found my Hoodlum Priest demos as well. Thanks for the prompt guys!

No I've just got lots of crap. No more demos I promise. Apart form Black Radio - Derek Thompson's (Hoodlum Priest) unsigned band. The best album you were denied the pleasure of buying. Apart from The White Room (generation 1). Andy
