The First Time With Bill Drummond
Sorry, I started a new thread because Google Mail was turning the old one into weird concrete poetry. Here's a link to a 128kp mp3 of "The First Time With ... Bill Drummond": http://www.mediafire.com/?s9avvut5fi9mstz Hope I haven't trod on anyone's toes! John
Thanks, John. Oh, and re: "The Children of the Revolution" reference on "What Time is Love (Live at Trancentral)". As far as I'm aware, it's not meaning any one specific - it's a reference to the MC5. I'm sure the "Kick Out the JAMs" album features shout outs to "The Children of the Revolution" ... or is it maybe "The Doors Absolutely Live". Both of which are sampled on WTIL, anyway. And I think that's where TCOTR reference comes from. John On Sun, Aug 22, 2010 at 10:47 PM, Andrew Fox <andrew@andrewfox.co.uk> wrote:

The way I read the liner notes from WTIL, the "Children Of The Revolution" is whoever contributed to the song in question, either actively or through samples. ..::// Thomas Touzimsky "My wife is passionately fond of flowers, and I always give her a punch on her birthday." - Letter in daily paper Am 23.08.2010 um 16:04 schrieb John Milne:

hey folks. there was also a 30min Radio 4 programme about Bill's Belfast project - "Belfast, Re-imagining the City" - a few months ago that i never got around to downloading... ...so this has prompted me to upload it, and you can grab it here: http://www.mediafire.com/?kmmkr34hh51d1yq also, if you want to easily grab bbc iplayer files, i would recommend using this: http://po-ru.com/projects/iplayer-downloader/ just paste the iplayer link, click download, and it strips out and downloads the target file for you. cheers, --- Smiley
