Hello fellow KLF fans I can confirm that the record in question also has KLF - 92 - PROMO 3 - A - 1 hand etched into the runout groove on side A along with PA6436 also being hand etched I currently have this very record in my KLF collection having recently purchased it from eBay. Promo 2 is hand written too. Unless there's more than one version and mine is fake :) Never heard fake promo 2 though.. What I know that there's 4 different versions of Promo 3: Original: - real KLF Comms release, single sided. CAT# in run-out is "KLF 92 PROMO 3 A", without hyphens and small handwritten lettering. Same lettering style can be found from Promo 2. Boot1: - Single sided, CAT# "KLF-92-PROMO 3-A-1" with hyphens and bigger hand written lettering like Eternity23. This probably came from Mike Dutton, as lettering is same as in Eternity 23. Boot2: - Single sided, stamped CAT# Boot3: - Version that no surfaced seem to have. "KLF-92-PROMO 3-A-1" with "PA6436". David sent me some images from this PA-version and I uploaded them to tinypic Label: http://tinypic.com/r/2cyl63l/5 (raw: http://oi44.tinypic.com/2cyl63l.jpg) It seems that there's faint writing/stamping on label. No idea what does it say. Etching: http://tinypic.com/r/2d0z1x1/5 (raw: http://oi42.tinypic.com/2d0z1x1.jpg) Eternity23 for comparison: http://tinypic.com/r/6s73ol/5 -- anttil. Well, looking at the images it would appear there is the same faint lettering on the label as the PA Version of promo 3 Looks like it probably says Made in England. The PA promo 3 must come from the same source as Eternity 23. On Wednesday, 25 December 2013, 19:29, Antti Lavio <antti.lavio@possu.org> wrote: Promo 2 is hand written too. It seems to me that I remember this topic running several years ago…
The original 92PROMO3 Acid Mix has the same style of “run-out etching” as 92PROMO2 which to the best of my knowledge (without trawling through my vinyl boxes) was stamped.
There was also another vinyl of “unknown origin” (but always presumed to be a bootleg) that had a larger hand written etching.
Presumably this eBay listing falls into one of those two categories
A very merry christmas :)

Thanks everyone, especially Antti and Tim(s) for the comprehensive info. Looks like we got a bit further than previous threads with this particular boot. On a side note, it's great to see this list is alive and working well...and surprising to see so much activity during the busy festive period......Merry Christmas everyone!

Haha...guilty! :D I guess I should go down soon before they become even more suspicious and think I'm watching porn here... Somehow I don't think they would buy my "just doing my weird record collecting stuff again" -explanation.. ;) Merry christmas to everybody! http://imgur.com/CjD862t On 25.12.2013 23:19, Dan T.
