Hi all, Remember that some of these “cheap deal” airlines fly to “Glasgow” when in actual fact, it’s Prestwick, which is MILES outside the city. I think £20-30 return to Aberdeen from Glasgow sounds right – but you may need to add extra for travelling from the airport to Queen Street Bus/Train Station. Incidentally, you can sometimes get cheap rail tickets which are just slightly more expensive that the bus. The only way to get from Aberdeen to Macduff is by Stagecoach bus – and it would cost around £10 return. Once in Macduff, it’s a half an hour walk through the town, out past the golf course, and down the hill to Tarlair. John PS – “Dresscode: White ropes and horns on out foreheads?” Of course, this is a perfectly normal look - especially when the Masonic Lodges open their doors at the end of an evening.
