A final ... dark ... question
Hi, folks, Something to consider: Are the lyrics of "Go to Sleep" purely about that hazy post-club feeling, or something a good deal darker? "Mummy please, please Mummy, look at me. And then I hear - go to sleep." That's pretty much Kurt Cobain territory. I know some of the lyrics for "The Black Room" were meant to document Bill on the brink of breakdown (something he eventually fell into, with all that meat-in-the-post "Bible of Dreams" stuff) - but maybe even as far back as 1989 there were signs. Or maybe I've been listening to Joy Division too recently! What do people think? John

I've always seen this song as the last thoughts of an old dying man. Ulrik
