Blimey....did someone get out of bed on the wrong side this morning? I'm more than happy to tell people what went on at the Barbican......I've even got an explanation for that strange bloke in the silver jumpsuit from my girlfriend......and I'll post it a little later today when I've got through the contents of my in-box and in-tray.... Oh....by the way.....(in response to Mr Bruce being snide about my not saying "hello" to a random person in the audience who happened to be filming Jimmy's song during the performance).....there are a few words in the tickets that stated something along the lines that "no recording devices of any kind were to be taken into the auditorium", hence the reason that my camera stayed in my pocket. There even was another team (!) with a mixing desk and a huge TV camera, and from what we know from the Barbican's employees, these were no shots for themselves. BBC maybe ? --- Thomas Touzimsky same shit // different day
I know - many of these events are recorded professionally but never "officially" see the light of day. The TV production company that a very good friend of mine worked at recorded the KLF Barbican gig back in 1997, but it never "officially" got released. To that same end I expect that the entire performance from Friday night was filmed, but will end up on a shelf somewhere. Oh...it was suggested that it was Gimpo who was running around during Jimmy's performace with a strobe light - it looked (from where I was sitting) that the strobe was attached to a video camera - could well be rather interesting footage from that one!!!

Well, at least it would then be worth a try to hunt them down. Ah, I just love the internet. --- Thomas Touzimsky same shit // different day
