Disco 2000 promo single
Hi, Apologies if it seems I'm monopolising the board, but this will be my final question for a while. I have the promo 12" of D-2002, which I have owned for about 10 years. It is housed in a black sleeve, with pink labels (with "DISCO 2000 1 LOVE NATION" written on one side in felt-tip) and the run-out groove is NOT hand-written but type-pressed with "D-2002 A-1J-1-1" and "D2002 B-1J-1-1" on the corresponding sides. The discography lists it thus: 12": 1988 UK (KLF Communications; D2002) [promo; pink label; some w/8x10] What is a "8x10"? Also, how limited is it? John PS - Has anyone ever seen the video?
There was a bit of discussion on the list recently about pressing plants re-using old labels when they press up white labels. Just checked my clear vinyl KLF 92 PROMO 2 to find that it too has re-used labels on it, although I've not be able to decipher which ones they are. Tch, cheapskates!
