Hello List here are my top 5 dance related albums. Have enjoyed reading the posts and it seems quite a few of us went through a similar listening journey over the last 10 years. KLF - White Room Beyond Records - Ambient Dub Vol 1 THis was the CD which introduced me to Bance De Gaia, Higher Intelligence Agency and a whole host of great chill out dub. Released in '92 this launched Beyond Records into the awareness of all these people who had been turned onto such music by the Orb & KLF. Speedy J - Ginger(Warp Records) Landmark release in Warp's Artificial Inrtelligence Series of electronic music. Great smooth shimmering sounds ranging from dancey stuff to more home listening. Along with others in the series it helped establish dance music as an LP format Underworld - Dubnobasswithmyheadman Don't really need to intoduce this one. I particularly liked the downtempo stuff like Tongue, with its slide guitar very reminiscent of Build A Fire Primal Scream - Screamadelica Winning production from Andrew Weatherall blended a perfect soundtrack for the E- generation as it found its voice in the early nineties.
