Celebrity deaths seem to be coming in a clutch at the moment, from Charlie Drake to President Ford and James Brown. Funny how that sometimes happens, with the most disparate people (Ernie Wise and Stanley Kubrick, etc) gathered together at Reaping time. We also had a death in my partner's family this week. As Simon says, its very sad for RAW's friends and fans - including thousands of JAMMS/KLF fans worldwide. Personally, though, I always found "Illuminati" to be a pointless and very long stoner in-joke, one which I always stood on the outside of. I feel sad for the many fans on this list, though.

in my own defence that was because i simply didn't know
but it is sad news indeed =(
along with thomas pynchon and umberto eco he has written (well, co-written) something i never managed to actually finish but know that some day before i die i simply have to, and that is actually some achievement.
