From the files of a populair Dutch Radio Station... Rough translation:
(...) The KLF ruled the music scene between 1990 and 1992 with their punk acid house. For a short while, they were the best selling British act. At the top of their fame they just quitted out of the blue and burned one million pounds of their own earned money. --- Jimmy Cauty and Bill Drummond started The Justified Ancients of Mu Mu in 1987, shortly the Jams. their debute album contained samples of ABBA's dancing Queen. Since ABBA didn't liked this, they had to destroy all the remaining copies. the band changed their name; they choose Kopyright Liberation Front (KLF) and issued ÂWhat time is loveÂ. The record had to be released for over 15 times - every time a new mix - (Hmmzzzz) before becoming a hit. afterwards they scored with; Â3 AM Eternal and ÂJustified & AncientÂ. (hmmzzz) Due to the fact they became so enormous populair, they decided to quit. With a bag loaded with money, they flew (hhhmmmzzzzz) to Scotland and, according to rumours, they threw(?HHMMMZzzzzz) one hundred thousand Brittish pounds out of a plain(?ok). Just before that, they've destroyed their whole back catalogue, which made it impossible to release anything new after 1992. The two delared that they wouldn't make music again untill world peace has been established.(yeah, uhu, c'mon, where's K-F) Haven't heared anything since...(should have kept yer ears opened) (...) So untill the day of today there are peeps outthere who aren't aware of the truth.... http://www.sufimovement.org/ _________________________________________________________________ MSN Foto's is de makkelijkste manier om je foto's te delen met anderen en af te drukken: http://photos.msn.nl/Support/WorldWide.aspx
