I listened to THe Blizard King's In The Ghetto, which last.fm tells me if off the album Huono Viisaus, the unreslease Bad Wisdom Kalevela album - or was it? According to last.fm some people have been listening to it, so is there any music, and is it avaliable anywhere?
Was this not on one of the singles? I can't recall. But there was a bootleg of the entire album circulating a few years ago... -paul
Yes, this was one of the singles. The bootleg of the album came off a DAT I think that Bill was passing round a few record companies. It was on the KLF MP3 Collection CDR's (set of 3) http://www.probe-records.com/KALEVALA/jspage.html The Blizzard King - "American Trilogy EP" 7inch (Kala 005) Incredible 3-track Extended Play 7" from the Jesus of Cool himself. Opening with a stunning version of "Break On Through", featuring a storming Hammond work-out of hyper-Manzarekian proportions, followed by a startling rendition of "Strangers in the night" (This being the recording from a parallel universe in which Old Blue Eyes didn't refuse to be in the same building as the Doors, but invited them into his studio for a full-on Drink, Drugs and Jam session.) Yeah, I had all the 7"s, unfortunately they vanished somewhenre during a move - all I have now is the MiniDisc of the tracks, and the MP3s from Mancentral. Bah.
I think the Huono Viisaus bootleg CD was still available from the site that was also selling 'Made at 3AM...' until recently, plus some other oddities and merchandise. Can't find the site right now so does anyone have a link? I have 4 of the singles but still haven't decided whether to sell these or buy the rest to complete the collection...I guess I would get a higher price for a full set though tbc.
