RE: [KLF] What Time is Love remixes
Yeah, i was shocked at the price too judging by its rarity. i paid £20 for Space in 91 and this WTIL LP was rare back then. I must admit some of the tracks sound like the KLF though the lyrics do not sound like any of their usual contributors. -----Original Message----- From: Maarten Bouwes [mailto:bouwes@hotmail.com] Sent: 06 February 2002 12:57 To: klf@mailman.xmission.com Subject: RE: [KLF] What Time is Love remixes n/p :) I was really shocked when I saw it @EIL since I bought this baby for nearly 40 pounds 3 years ago.... I heard that they said that KLF remixed those tracks themself Maarten _________________________________________________________________ Chat on line met vrienden en probeer MSN Messenger uit: http://messenger.msn.nl/ _______________________________________________ KLF mailing list KLF@mailman.xmission.com http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/klf _____________________________________________________________________ This message has been checked for all known viruses for Frontline Ltd by the MessageLabs Virus Scanning Service. ------------------------------------------------------------ This e-mail message and any attachment(s) are CONFIDENTIAL and may contain legally privileged information. I think the general collectible value of KLF material is actually dropping, as interest in the band declines and most people who want to actively hunt for something are massively assisted by the Internet in finding it. Five years ago something like the WTIL LP, KSTJ CD or 12", the Space LP etc. were things you couldn't find for love nor money. Now it seems like all but the *most* rare of KLF items can be tracked down for less than twenty quid if you can be bothered to look. i agree the internet makes it easier, but I think if you could be bothered to look you could always find what you wanted. Even 5 years ago (maybe 4) I was amazed what people on the list said they'd paid for their records. I have all the LPs on vinyl, in near mint or excellent condition, and most of the singles (with obvious exceptions like january wtil) and the only two records i paid more than 20-25 pounds for were 1987 (which was about 40) and J&A anti-acapella (40 again, but i exchanged a big pile of crap CDs and got it without paying even a penny in cash, niiiice!) It kinda goes without saying I don't have IGUN original though, iirc i've never seen that for less then 70-80 jon -- "You will find that the state is the kind of organization which, though it does big things badly, does small things badly too." - John Kenneth Galbraith

I got the IGUN 1 sided vinyl from the HMV website (I think) a few years ago. Did anyone else get a copy? Do you think it's real, or one of the bootlegs?
