will bring about the 6-CD KLF box set. After all, every other band with a similar chart success has succumbed to this eventually - why not the KLF? I mean, they're weren't THAT different and special ...
23 CD's of course. ;-) Seriously, I counted it through - if you want to include just about every KLF related track, remix, cover version and stuff you easily end up with a rather huge box set. Not that I would complain about that. I understand your point, as we already had some emails about a similar topic, but from my side. We all know there IS nothing coming from the KLF camp for ages now, and chances are that this won't change in the near future. Yet we still had more than a dozen news entries in November on all kinds of topics (and you got to keep in mind that the site was temporarily offline), which isn't too bad for two old bores and a band that split 13 years ago. I am still missing some of the new stuff, but I am still collecting every bit and clip from the "old times", and you would be surprised about just how much stuff you probably have never seen. Pictures, articles, posters - there is still so much to discover. For example, I recently had the chance to pick up three posters by Jimmy of which I didn't know they existed in this format at all (Glastonbury, The King Of Elfland's Daughter, and the fabulous The Gift). I got several gigabytes of scanned articles, press adverts and other stuff on my laptop which need to get shapened up so we can put them online - at this point, I see KLF Online as an Archive so all these things won't get lost for those who enjoy The KLF's work. Hell, we might even end up with a cool DVD set with all the scans, articles, infos and stuff now that a DVD burner is a common option. Of course, I still got a life outside the KLF. ;-) Which includes music making as well. Recently, I did a 80 minutes breaks set which unfortunately isn't online anymore, but that's something I can work out. And I am working on my second artist release as well (either EP or album). ..::// Thomas
