I was just looking at the archives, I see someone posted a link to an MP3 of the the Liberty 3 12", does anyone know where I might be able to get this? I've got the original, very warped (from new!) 12", but I need a new stylus and haven't had much luck plugging the record player into my iBook... kt.
What other Liberties where there? I guess 1 & 2 at least... Any good? Thanks to Simon for the MP3, worked a treat :)
Who is this by? KLF or another band. Io am searching my ftp archives to see if I have this track. -----Original Message----- From: klf-bounces+rmstringer=peoplepc.com@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:klf-bounces+rmstringer=peoplepc.com@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of X Kyle M Thompson Sent: Wednesday, July 07, 2004 5:34 AM To: klf@mailman.xmission.com Subject: [KLF] Liberty 3 I was just looking at the archives, I see someone posted a link to an MP3 of the the Liberty 3 12", does anyone know where I might be able to get this? It was mentioned here when it was released - 1997-ish? About the same time as the Kalevela singles. It appears to be series of dance 12"s with samples, nothing more. 12" has just a green label with a V sign (much like freak power's) on it and stars. and the number 3 on the other side. IIRC there were at least Liberty 1 & Liberty 2 as well.
So did the KLF get any mentions on the 1991 edition of I Love the 90s? I missed that particular ep. They count down the best dance songs of each year... Just wondering... jr ----------------------------------------- Jeremiah "Spassvogel" Rickert 6'7" 320 lbs of Dr. Pepper and Pez Candy. -----------------------------------------

on one side(i could be a bit inaccurate): SL2 Dj take control with the bass line of 'She's breaking up' (mickey finns first record) also has vocal 'move your body to me... i wanna feel the heat... turn me on, turn me out' cant remember where from over the piano from Alison Limeric 'Where love lives', the overused 'cocaine' sample. On the other side: The Piano from Prodigy 'Your love' with the beats produced very much like the early itchy and scratchy records around at the same time (Seb Fontaine and somebody else did them). Dance while the record spins (Bizarre inc). Liberty 1 or 2 sampled the piano line from Rollo Goes camping 'Get off your high horse' or maybe they both sampled the same thing. Not sure. (Later used in 'In Complete Darkness' by the Fat controller, if that helps at all), but now going hugely off topic! I had never come accross no.3, any clips? ----- Original Message ----- From: Simon Glass To: Jon Doe ; All bound for Mu-Mu Land.
