Hi, Ronnie, and welcome, I have both the boot and the original, and promo housed in an original sleeve. The bootleg looks darker - basically, if you look at the spaceman and the wreck of the Hesperus, they all look a little blurred (the same is the case with the bootleg CD). If you have a sticker on the front, I think that's a pretty good guarantee of authenticity. Also - look at the labels on the vinyl. If the writing is in a circle, then it's genuine - if it's only half, then it's a boot. And the groove writing should NEVER look typed. John

Hello there, I am a newbie to this mailing list so hello fellow KLF fans! I wondered if anyone could help me on this one. I recently bought a copy of Space on LP from Ebay. It was sold as being the original LP from 1990 and not the bootleg LP. Here is the link to the item: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4061768505&ssPageName=A... I have never seen the bootleg version of the LP so i have no idea what it looks like. The copy i bought has a sticker on the front which reads "KLF Communications, Space LP 001". It aslo has "Damon T" on the matrix, which other records of the same era has such as WTIL Pure Trance 1 etc, obviously alongside "space lp1" This would make me assume it is the original. Does anyone have the bootleg space lp and know what the matrix reads? I am hoping that this means i have the original copy of the LP and not the bootleg. I cannot find any images of the front and rear sleeve of the "bootleg" version to know which one i have! So confusing! Any help or advice anyone could offer would be very much appreciated! Cheers! Ronnie
