´Bill at the foundry
I was thinking of going, but there's a proposed tube strike that day - damn! However, it will mean a day off working at home if the strike does go ahead, so it can't be all that bad!! ;-> l8rs, Nick ;-) Hellom everybody, I´ve found some info on the Bill Drummond at the foundry thing at: http://www.pilchardteeth.com I´m going there from Sweden, I think it sounds great to bad I found out so late that the price for a flight ticket extra high... It would be nice to meet with some of you guys there, anyone else going there? - david
Let's see a show of hands as to who is going :) I'm going to be there with a friend. I'm not sure what to expect from this though; is it just going to be lots of people sitting in a room with Bill giving a lecture, or what? Chris
my hands up, i'm heading along. i think it will just be Bill giving a diatribe, and a completely packed house. i would make sure you get along early for a place in the bar, and remember the tube is on strike also. -thor On Wed, 17 Jul 2002, Hawx wrote:

[hand] I work round the corner so i'll be there. I'd guess more of a seminar than a lecture - I hope there are some views from the floor rather than just some old scot with a chip on his shoulder ranting at us ;) -- "Programming is one of the most difficult branches of applied mathematics; the poorer mathematicians had better remain pure mathematicians." - Edsger Dijkstra
