The "UK Edit" version of "3 AM Eternal" on the "Vitamin E" CD seems to be mastered direct from a vinyl copy of KLF5R. About five seconds into the intro, you can here a click - and generally, the sound quality is not that good. As far as rare mixes are concerned, the 1992 UK compilation "Maximum Rave" - including all your old favourites, like Smart-Es and Urban Hype - features a version of "America: What Time is Love" which is mixed into (at the beginning) a remix of The Shamen's "LSI" and (at the end) "Temple of Dreams" by Messiah. Also, not rare but certainly note-worthy, is the "Indie Top 20 Volume 8" CD, which features the edit of "Kylie Said to Jason" and an otherwise unavailable interview (doesn't say who from): "We wore our Pet Shop Boys infatuations brazenly on our sleeves while we recorded this track and we are proud of it. As for Kylie Said to Jason, the lyrics are not some attempt at a clever critique on our current pop idols." Interestingly, "Indie Top 20 Volume 8" also includes "Haunted House" by Alien Sex Fiend, which is "re-mixed by Youth from Brilliant and scratched over by DJ Cesare from Gee Street Records". And it appears on e-bay all the time for no bids! John

That's a nice coincidince then, I just sent an e-mail to the list in which I talk about "Indie Top 20 Volume 6" which contains a Last Train To Trancentral version... Hmm... MaybeI should talk with that DJ and get a copy of that CD then...
