I for one would love a chapterised (or non-chapterised) mp3 of the soundtrack! Thanks, Andy John PS - I wonder what will be released first. "Smile" or your "Space" DVD? :-) PPS - And yes, I know the answer is "Smile".

On another subject John. You said you wanted LT2T riping from the White Room DVD soundtrack. Does anyone want me to rip the whole soundtrack as chapterised MP3s?
I can do it and upload to ftp it if anyone's bothered.
If not I'll carry on with the menus for my Space project. (The audio & video are done. Looks and sounds nice.)

What is the deal with the Smile CD? How has Mr Wilson managed to wrestle this away from the filthy hands of Mike 'Hate' Love? Just by calling it 'Brian Wilson Presents...Smile'? I rang the number on the advert on Q Magazine and Brian's voice said "I'm sorry I can't come to the phone right now" followed by familiar excerpts of the tracks. I could Google but I find it strange that I like to keep my finger on the pulse as it were, but before your message John I only saw a cryptic ad on the back of Q magazine! I thought Smile had already been released...(?) I had a quick listen to it a couple of weeks ago on one of those listening post things (Fish Records, next to the Dendy, Newtown, NSW). It sounded ok, but I was more impressed by the Cut Chemist CD that was next to it :-) Chris ___________________________________________________________ALL-NEW Yahoo! Smile WILL be out first. I'm pissing around with menus ATM on my current project. In a nutshell I've remixed Space and the White Room Soundtrack into "faux" AC3 (AKA Dolby digital AKA 5.1). Someone on the list was going to have a go at mixing the original OST soundtrack to the events in the movie, can't remeber what happened on that but it would be nice as a dual audio track. I've left the video alone on TWR because it's one of the things I'm happy with. With Space I've edited together 38 minutes and 19 seconds of NASA footage of Earth from the space shuttle. It's all edited to fit Space track times and the disk is chaptered to fit the "non" tracks on the CD. There's a couple of bad video edits on there but that's life. You'll only notice if you watch it stoned. Space through my DTS amp really must annoy my neighbours. Makes my sub woofer really rumble now. Nice.... I'll be looking for a couple of test bodies when it's done. I'll get back to you all when the menus are done. Andy that was me and I would still like to do it but if you remember, I haven't actually 'learned' to mix yet, although I might just try it with cooledit or something =) Gotta register some domains before I learn how to mix and should have some product or other in '05

Sounds great, but you didn't go for my BBC 'The Planets' DVD idea in the end? ;-) --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? New and Improved Yahoo! Mail - 100MB free storage!
