Just wanted you to know that the "Waiting for ... " CD that is currently on eBay is neither the bootleg from Echo Beach nor an official release.
"Bootlegged bootleg" ?
Happens all the time. Pretty ugly cover, isnt it? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=854933831 -paul Currently in rotation: Golden Age of American Rock n Roll (vol 1-8); Joey Ramone - Dont Worry About Me Owen Patrick - http://members.cox.net/owen0302

On the other hand - the real issue is hard to find in these days. The sound should be alright since I guess this is a simple 1:1 copy. But it just looks a bit crappy to me. Question - does the seller know this is no "official" release ? Since he points out that it is an original CD. I just keep in mind that there are silver CD-Rs that really look like real ones. I got a "master copy" of Remodelled & Remixed on a silver CD-R and it is hardly possible to tell which is the proper side, and compared to normal CDs, there´s no difference. And the price is almost the same as for a normal high quality CD-R that is blue or green or whatever color you like. Orange CD-Rs anyone ? :-) --- Thomas / KLF Online

I've seen that bootleg before with an identical cover at a record fair in Nottingham over a year ago, so I think it's safe to assume that there have been several copies made (unless by some freakish coincidence it's the same copy I saw!) I had a quick look at it, out of curiosity, and it looked pretty amateurish. Didn't get to hear it, so I don't know about the sound quality, and sadly I can't remember what colour the CDR was... CD-R Colour all depends on the dye used in the CD. There are even Black CDs now, I bet that pleased Sony! -----Original Message----- From: klf-admin@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:klf-admin@mailman.xmission.com]On Behalf Of Thomas Touzimsky Sent: 01 April 2002 11:34 To: klf@mailman.xmission.com Subject: Re: [KLF] WftRoM on eBay
