[OT] C-More: A Bootleg Too Far (2 KLF'isms)
Morning Seen as things seem to be a tad slow both here on the list and here at work I thought I would post this link: http://www.box.net/public/0l9ihcyzbx Its an hour long mix in which I use most of my acappellas along with some of my favourite records and some samples from one of my favourite films "A Bridge Too Far". It does contain two KLF/JAMMS "records" (but blink and you'll miss them) as well as "A Huge Evergrowing yaddah yaddah yaddah" by the mighty Orb. Anyway, if you have an hour to kill give it a listen. Obviously I would be keen to know what you think. One more thing (again connected by The Orb and me been board at work); I have come across this is in YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a5jCw_AQDCE&search=the%20orb Its the music video for "From a Distance" which I have never seen (I didn't even know there was a video for it) so I thought I would mention it in case other people missed it (did the single actually chart in the UK top40??) Ta-Ta C.
nice one i'll check that out. dunno if any of uz would be interested but i'm putting together a benefit CD to raise money for indegenous tribes, in particular the tribes of West Papua, and was looking for artists. Its so far a mix of electro, punk, hip hop, a bit of D&B and a bit of country. some big names and some unheard of... let me know if anyone's got anything. we also need some good Dj or artists for a benefit night in Brixton in September. The thing is i can get quality, but if anyone knows any big names that might wanna help. there was around a 1000 people at the last one, but we aren't promotors and are not sure whether that they were there cos of the posters we put about, just cos it was friday night in brixton, or cos Jazzanova was on... any ideas sugestions would be loooovely. we also had traditional tribal music and a couple of more normal bands and a salsa band so a bit of a mix, but jazzanova was the big name that got peeps in i spose. cheers
Hey, Does anyone have the version of From A Distance in this video? I seem not to have this one, and it's pretty bangin' ;) John On 14 Jun 2006, at 11:07, Craig Moore wrote:
