I always though the "conversations" between Bill and Jimmy in early JAM recordings were actually just Bill talking to himself. Certainly the "I'd love to be in Abba" bit seems like the same voice - that distinctive Galloway twang we all know and love - doubled up.
Yes, it can be that way...I'll listen it again... The "sample"-conversations sounds real anyway: "By the way, Rockman! Where did you meet him?" And then the answer "I met him at the candy store!" (as sample, on the Candystore track -again).
Bill Drummond isn't the only Scotsman who can rhyme and rap, you know!
I know...there were Finitribe, and the Shamen as well...pity no early Fini stuff available... As for consp-theorist I strongly recommend to listen the first ever JAMs-single, and reading between the lyrics... Our heroes were clairvoyances again...
