I love this idea, and am prepared to help get it out here in the US. That said, I have an opposing view on the Gary Glitter stuff. He's a scumbag. He's evil. He's rotting in prison... But I'd hate to see what I consider a classic from the KLF catalog get dropped because of what he did. If it were HIS record, that'd be one thing, but its the KLF "liberating" the sample and turning it into something better. Frankly, I like the idea of making a sample with dubious lineage "ours" again. To paraphrase Clerks II: "We're taking Rock N' Roll Part I back, man." But that's just my take. I'm still mortified when I go to a football game and they actually play Rock N' Roll Part I (the actual Gary Glitter tune) over the PA. Inevitably followed by a Michael Jackson song.
