I do not use an FTP program. Just IE6. It does say it cannot access the folder for me too, but when I go to File and Login as, I have no problems. Chris On Fri, 19 Dec 2003 22:02:42 -0000 Dave Clark <daveclark_@ntlworld.com> wrote:

You have to use an ftp program, surely?

Brian, using Internet Explorer c&p this into the address bar, then <enter>. ftp://renigade2.dyndns.org/ If you get an error, make sure the address didn't change. If the address hasn't changed, but you still have the error, you're fine. Next go to <FILE> (top left in internet explorer) click on <LOGIN AS> then enter KLF Plus for the login and KLF Plus for the password.
hope this helps. Happy Holidays to all bound for Mu Mu land!

I do though, the same thing happens. It simply won't accept KLF Plus as the password. Not on this machine, anyway, no matter what ISP I use (I have 4). Something to do with having Windows 2000, perhaps, with its different dialup configuration files? There's not much more frustrating than "It's definitely the best version of Windows but we don't support it." ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris Gable" <cjgable@mybluelight.com> To: <klf@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Friday, December 19, 2003 10:11 PM Subject: Re: Re:[KLF]

Woah! Are you trying to use the password in the dial-up config? If so, then that's why it's not working. Dial up to your ISP (any of them) as normal. Once you've made a successful connection, launch "command prompt" (start/run/"cmd"/enter) and follow the instructions I emailed you last week on how to use the windows2000 ftp command.

No. I go online as normal, then use my ftp program as normal. Or in this case File and login. Under user name or whatever I put <KLF Plus>, and the same under password. I've also tried about a million combinations of those characters. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris Peel" <munkie@cloud9ine.com> To: "'All bound for Mu-Mu Land.'" <klf@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Saturday, December 20, 2003 12:08 PM Subject: RE: Re:[KLF]

Dave did you also try flashfxp and the instructions I gave in a previous mail? It shouldn't take long and flashfxp isn't a big program.
