Of course I meant the Eye & I remix of 'Choice', not 'Midnight'...they were on the same 12" =)

Ironic, isn't it, considering that this Saturday we're going to get a performance by a collective only known as "Pop Damage" (featuring BJ Cole on slide guitar) interpreting The KLF's "Chill Out", and the following day sees a performance by Blacksmoke (Jimmy Cauty) also reinterpreting "Chill Out". Looking forward to these at the Big Chill - wa-hey! L8rs, Nick ;-) P.S. I like Orbital, actually...

KLF has now left the building.........................
Just noticed these two on a forthcoming list from an online retailer: $19 KLF: 1987 - What the F**K's Going On? LP (JAMS 001LP). "Re-issued by public demand. KLF's first album which was withdrawn due to legal problems due to the uncleared Abba samples." $19 KLF: Chill Out LP (KLF 005LP). "Re-issued on vinyl by public demand. Yes it's back again for another limited run, Cauty and Drummond's 1990 classic, addictive, spacy ambient album with that unique KLF style." These are both boots, correct? seek
Sound like the boots to me, but worth having at that price, purely for a Vinyl copy - even the bootlegs go for quite a bit on e-bay... L8rs, Nick ;-)

Probably from the same source that I got a copy of Shag Times (brand new, must have been a boot as nothing of the correct vintage would look that good) I got it off eBay - who is your "online retailer"? kt.

playing.by.ear@mindspring.com email him and ask for the "PBeDATE - 24 July 2004 (Part 2)" list. And it's well worth your while to be added to the list and receive the regular emailings. PBE are highly recommended. Located in the States. Totally reliable, totally honest, totally responsible: the a model of perfection and consistency. seek
Here's a good question.... If you did a bootleg of 1987, would you really go to all the trouble of re-doing the cover and then get the tiny details wrong like the re-issue of 1987 that appeared before? ----- Original Message ----- From: "seeklektek" <eclectics@comcast.net> To: "All bound for Mu-Mu Land." <klf@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Monday, July 26, 2004 8:11 PM Subject: Re: [KLF] "re-issued by public demand" = bootlegs?

These may even be overstock from that previous boot run: unsold product, recycled. seek

I suppose you might leave something perhaps a small error to show that it was yours but nothing that obvious, I have a boot 1987 and it is blatantly obvious that it is a boot. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jon Doe" <jondoe@clsmweb.fsnet.co.uk> To: "All bound for Mu-Mu Land." <klf@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Tuesday, July 27, 2004 5:49 PM Subject: Re: [KLF] "re-issued by public demand" = bootlegs?

The last load of bootlegs were pretty good. I only noticed the printing errors when comparing them to originals... I don't usually check for spelling mistakes, etc when buying records. But now we know what to look for! I suspect the boots weren't made by a fan as such, probably by an organised group of bootleggers who saw the high prices originals go for and made a stack of them quickly to make a quick stack of money! (money that wouldn't be burnt, probably funded other organised crime...) Chris --- tim DENTON <tim-jan@home9999.fsnet.co.uk> wrote: > I suppose you might leave something perhaps a small
