I've got a number of KLF releases without any labels on them, off the top of my head: JAMS28R grey vinyl JAMS28R black vinyl test press AMERICA PROMO 1 (single sided test press of KLF USA 4X) Usually pressing plants will charge for labels so it's up to the customer really... -----Original Message----- From: klf-bounces+chris=k23productions.com@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:klf-bounces+chris=k23productions.com@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Jon Doe Sent: 08 December 2004 12:46 To: All bound for Mu-Mu Land. Subject: Re: RE: [KLF] Ebay rarities interesting thought! It would be interesting to see a copy with labels, which draws several technical issues... If labels were stuck on, they would probably be on top of white labels, so you could probably tell by the thickness... pressing plants always seem to insist on labels going on records... or you could scan in the artwork and have 1000 label pairs done for £80. A run of only 3 copies! Even test presses from Damont always came as a minimum 6 copies and most other places 10. Surely this figure comes from somebody asking somebody else who said 3 (maybe after 3 being given away to some dj friends?). back to the run out grooves (which if handwritten could be copied fairly exactly). ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris Peel" To: "'All bound for Mu-Mu Land.'" Yes, it was me that won the MG underground one (at least, I do have a copy so I assume it was me). As for there only being 3 copies of a sleeved KLF006T - where does this come from? The records were pressed, and the labels and sleeves were printed. It is just me, or has no-one heard of glue? ;-)

The $1000 KLF6T came with full sleeve - this only had a generic sleeve and handwritten labels.
Was the KLF010RR sold in January *actually* KLF010RR? I thought that only came shrinkwrapped with KLF010R? The auction was for the M.G. Underground Sound; KLF-PROMO-{A1/B1) from the discog, I though.
Didn't Chris win it? Maybe he could confirm.
Does anyone on the list actually own KLF010RR shrink-wrapped with KLF010R, btw?

Let's hope it's genuine.

I would just like to point out that I was the lucky one to win 006T. Cost me an arm and a leg!
