This is something that I've found unreasonable. I'm not a mad dangerous fixated nutter, but the JAMS and The KLF meant a lot to me. Bill & Jimmy spent a lot of time from the JAMS onward creating music and staging events that would intrigue people immensely. The use of Illuminatus imagery and slogans, so much self-glorifying imagery and sounds, ultra-collectible back catalogue, etc. The Church of The KLF, no less. To disown it is understandable, but to look down on, or fear, people still in love with their work of that period, something I feel they themselves heavily encouraged, that to me is disappointing. Maybe it's only Bill's paranoia. I haven't heard Jimmy saying anything on the subject at all. t -- __________________________________________________________ Sign-up for your own FREE Personalized E-mail at Mail.com http://www.mail.com/?sr=signup

They signed records at the Barbican last October, and Jimmy refered to us as "Just some old fans I guess". So they are not totally scared imho. --- Thomas Touzimsky "Some millennia, you should better stay in bed."
Bill is quite paranoid, but not suprising. Jon Doe (i cant be arsed to pay you, i might meet you at the M25 spin, or will that mean you dont turn up?)
Some of you might have noticed I'm replying to several mails that are a week old. Congratulations on your attentiveness. On Mon, Feb 24, 2003 at 05:51:20PM +0000, Tony Stuart wrote:

I'm sure if Jimmy felt strongly about it he wouldn't keep doing remixes that are sold with the name KLF attached. Bill is labelled as money-burner, artist, writer, novellist etc. but never KLF. The Scourge of the Earth and Greybeard mixes often have (KLF) on them. I only recently got hold of the SOTE mix of "Every Me and Every You", and it rocks. A powerful little pop ditty. -- I listen a lot and talk less. You can't learn anything when you're talking. - Bing Crosby
