It's still not as awe-inspiring as the shot of Peel Acres, from the recent commemorative documentary, which has "Pure Trance 2" perched on a desk beside John Peel as he's broadcasting - I'm presuming, of course, that he played it a few times "back in the day". John PS - Re: What does "What Time is Love?" mean: a thought just occurs to me - might it be a reference to the similar-meaning of "How Soon is Now?" by the Smiths? Both tracks share an equal otherwordly, shimmering appeal (and were originally 12" singles rather than album songs).

I remember seeingthat on Yazz/Coldcut video too. The part scratched is the 'stab' from The John Davies Monster Orchestra - I can't stop', which, to my knowledge, isn't used on any klf track
I reckon it's either a respectful reference, or it was the only record that had with them at the shoot!

How Soon Is Now? was originally the B side to William, It Was Really Nothing and was released as an A side after reaching #1 in John Peel's Festive 50! /Smiths nerd Personally I can't see much of a link to HSIN? but I always thought of WTIL? when I heard What Is Love? I forget who it was by - some early nineties europap Chris --- John Milne <john@highlandland.fsnet.co.uk> wrote:
