Huh... last time I posted something in the Scooter forum, I started a quite big flame war with one of their die hard fans. To be honest, I guess that's gonna happen everytime when two die hard fans get together... ;-)
And THIS one reminds me of something... ideas anyone ? *g* --- Thomas Touzimsky "Some millennia, you should better stay in bed."

by the kopyright liberation front? unlikely what i find amusing is that the fans on that forum don't even get the references i should really stop thinking about them, but anyone know where they got the name scooter? (is it german for unoriginal or something? ;) jon -- "I always keep a supply of liquor handy in case I see a snake, which I also keep handy." - W.C. Fields
In Germany, on Fairgrounds so called Auto-Scooters are very popular (I really don´t know, if England or the USA have them, too). In these Auto-Scooters semi-braindead people drive around in small two-passenger scooters and ram each other (sounds like fun, eh?). They play very loud charts-techno in the background. In my opinion this whole auto-scooter-thing is the physical embodiment of Scooter´s music. So perhaps, this is where they got their name from? ;-) Please excuse my bad English. -- +++ GMX - Mail, Messaging & more http://www.gmx.net +++ Bitte lächeln! with some scruffy-lookin' type shouting "scream if you wanna go faster" into a microphone, eyeing up the girls, and collecting the money that falls out on the loop of the rollercoaster. aaah ... fairgrounds!

excellent, from now on their genre is to be known as "fairground techno" (or maybe "ghost house" - hoho!) -- "God not only plays dice, he also sometimes throws the dice where they cannot be seen." - Steven Hawking "Which in Stephen Hawking's case is pretty much anywhere." - H
