Konsider this: I am runing a _free_ FTP that contains Robert entire old FTP (with his kind permission and the good help of certain list-members ), as well as a lot of other stuff that I have come across myself. I don't have the exact numbers, but I sem to recall it being somewhere beetween 32 - 35 GB. Admittedly with some redundance. To a large extent all of this stuff stems from list-members that were willing to share their stuff with others for free, such as Robert, the old Loophole-FTP as well as the "sharing-frenzy" that took place about a year ago, if I recall correctly. My only reservation has and will continue to be that I will not share any of the PVC-stuff - for reasons I have stated earlier. Now, list-members will obviously treat Martin's offer as they wish. As will I. I do not know what material Martin has, so I will not make any claims about it. I will say this, though: FTP is online again. Apparently there are some technical issues with my network, so some reduced performance/bandwidth may occur until my ISP resolves this. I understood Martins mail as a sarcastic comment against buying expensive bootleg stuff from ebay. I mean, almost all of that material is available for free so why spend big $$$ for that, even if you are new to the KLF. Of course I understand that people make choices. If you want to spend money to reasonably well produced bootleg CD's or download not so good quality MP3s for free, it's all up to you. -- anttil.
You are probably right, antti. My mistake. My apologies to Martin. Note to self: don't reply to emails before having had breakfast and a cup of coffee. K Den 21. sep. 2013 14:45 skrev "Antti Lavio" <antti.lavio@possu.org> følgende:

My question is this? How is new stuff being remastered or found? Sone of this stuff is just as good as it will ever get unless klf releases all their rare stuff and we all know that's not going to happen. Shitty rips and bad copies back in the ftp days were the norm as I still have all my stuff. If some jackwagon is remastering 128kb MP3 files I say go for it. You still have a shitty source from whatever person you got it from. If someone is dumb enough to get the "rare" bootlegs, great for them. A sicker is born every day. They need to research the klf and this list for the last 15 years... RMStringer ########## Galaxy Note II On Sep 21, 2013 7:55 AM, "Kjetil Johnsen" <kjetil.johnsen@gmail.com> wrote:

Well i don't mind paying someone for the price of the USB stick, postage and time taken. I do take issue however on people making money on The KLF's work. I find that objectionable. However, i will recant on the R&R Volumes that are original remixes, then if its the remix artist selling them and getting the cash, thats cool. -- Xav Sent with Airmail On 21 septembre 2013 at 14:45:15, Xav (alunare@gmail.com) wrote: On 21.9.2013 11:46, Kjetil Johnsen wrote:

this subject of making money from The KLF (Kopyright Liberation Front) makes me laugh... did Whitney or Petula Clarke or The Beatles see a dime from KLF's use of their copyrighted recordings... NO THEY DID NOT!!! the way i see it is that a bunch of dudes on here are uptight that their precious low circulation collected shares are in danger of being exploited and commercialized on, just as KLF did to others. only difference is Jimmy and Bill didn't bitch about it. just lighten up and let karma run it's course...
