Might be interesting to point out this: Alex Paterson Transit Kings - 'Oh Shit' - (White Label) Ruts - 'Alternative - 'Ustler Ustler' - (White Label) Mad Proffessor - 'Unreleased Version Indian Vox!' - (White Label) Hixxy Hixxy - 'Tantric' - (Raver Baby) DS - 'Getting Better' - (Raver Baby) Dido - 'Touch My Skin' - (Bootleg/White Label) Hixxy - 'Lost Boys' - (Raver Baby) The first track is infact a new Transit Kings track. Niiiiiice. :-) ..::// Thomas Touzimsky A best man's speech should be like a mini-skirt; short enough to be interesting, but long enough to cover the bare essentials. (Unknown)
Got to correct me here I think. From the vocals, "OH Shit" is the song about 27+ minutes in the set. In fact, the whole playlist on BBC Online seems to be uncomplete. For example, they omit Primal Scream's "Higher Than The Sun". Any idea what part is the Transit Kings? If the song around 27:30 is really "Oh Shit", then I must admit that I really like it. :-) ..::// Thomas Touzimsky A best man's speech should be like a mini-skirt; short enough to be interesting, but long enough to cover the bare essentials. "Higher than the sun" features around the 5-6 minute mark. iTunes did crash at this point (I doubt whether this is due to the mp3; more likely due to iTunes) but it played through fine in WinAmp...
If I'm not mistaken, the sample at the start, of "you'll never walk alone" was lifted from Pink Floyds Fearless off the Meddle album.
There's a lot of Pink Floyd in there (as there was in most early Orb stuff) - ahh, memories... Every time I take the train to Croydon I always look for the flying pigs as it trundles past Battersea Power Station. :)
