I can recommend open air goa raves very much, it's one of the few places in Switzerland where you can find an underground scene with good people.
A DOUBLE oxymoron no less.
why?
i'm still not clear as to whence came this horn? what previous K-ular tracks have it?
well I think I sampled it from "Waiting for the rights of Mu". It's the sound which sounds like a "Muuuuu" but with a lot of extra noise around it (played quite slow). I just try to find it on the CD but for sure without success right now. I call it the KLF-Horn because I named it like this in the sampler :-) cu Adrian -- Adrian Gschwend @ OS/2 Netlabs ICQ: 22419590 ktk@netlabs.org ------- The OS/2 OpenSource Project: http://www.netlabs.org

ah, i think i'm with you - similar sound in it's grim up north? seems a bit slow for dance music more suited to atmospheric tracks (like, oh, IGUN and Waiting...) well, i'm off to Ikea. kt

yes! btw found it, it's on the beginning of track two on WFTROM at about 54 seconds (several times starting at this time). cu Adrian -- Adrian Gschwend @ OS/2 Netlabs ICQ: 22419590 ktk@netlabs.org ------- The OS/2 OpenSource Project: http://www.netlabs.org
I always thought that it was supposed to be the sound of an old factory whistle/horn. They used to have these in the UK (I'm guessing back in about the 50's) to signal to the workers when it was time to change shifts etc. This was on the basis that the track was called IGUN, and that people thought that it WAS "grim up North" and that the factories etc still used the horns.... God - it's been a long day if I'm spouting drivell like this..... Craig!

ah yes that might be that sound. Anyway, my Sampler calls it KLF Horn now :) cu Adrian -- Adrian Gschwend @ OS/2 Netlabs ICQ: 22419590 ktk@netlabs.org ------- The OS/2 OpenSource Project: http://www.netlabs.org
