Hmm ... censored with an "s"? It doesn't look, from the photo, like anything other than a CDR with a cheaply-printed sleeve in a DVD(?)box. If it's Deep Shit Parts 1 & 2 (original, from 1987) then it wouldn't have the KSTJ samples on it (obviously) - although the questions section suggests it does. And the version that's leaked around the internet (Part 3? is just a little longer than the original Queen & I (not 12 minutes). I suspect this is more fan stuff, and that Bill or Jimmy are less likely to return to their old back catalogue than a dog is to return to the products of an upset tummy. But you never know. I still think if there was EVER to be a greatest hits or reissue program it would be through a genuinely label - and released in a normal way. When you have things like Ned's Atomic Dustbin having a "best of" on the shelves, it's clearly time for the KLF to become part of the nostalgia boom (as they themselves predicted in the sleevenotes of "Shag Times" - review shows with Yazz and Hazel Dean, etc). At the end of the day, it's just pop music - and should be treated by the industry in the normal way. Weren't Bill & Jimmy about exposing and (grudgingly, mabe) celebrating the whole stinking biz? A cheapo greatest hits on a cheapo label would be the perfect (too late and low-selling) epitath. Still, they might get some money off curious Klakons fans.

Weren't there rumors running around a year ago that Jimmy was working on re-mastering all of their original work, in time for the 23rd anniversary of the founding of the JAMs?

.
It looks like a boot to me, but if it's real then I think the ultimate finale would surely have
to be The Black Room.

Damn..I can only hope that this is real.
Still, if it is real, what do you think their one final release would be?
A compilation of every song and remix the JAMs/KLF has ever done???

1987 copies. Well if it is legit (it will be interesting to see if the other 1985 copies surface), then there should be plenty of copies for us list members.

2007: WTF is going on? Is it an original (if there's such thing)?

I bet that this is a fan-made fake or something like that like you saud. I'm afraid that this will end up to be something like Love Trance (Marble effect of course ;)) -episode from earlier this year. This one will be sold for 250£ and in couple of weeks, there will be four more for sale. So what will be next? Orb remix of Grim Up north? Finished Black Room? Turn up the Strobe (007) or E-train (008)? Lover's Side Pure Trance -version? Kylie 010RR (Or can anyone _really_ confirm that this exists?), No more tears and Go to sleep as 011 and 012? Full Madrugada Eterna Video mix? 004M? ..but of course, if anyone manages to get an mp3 copy of this Deep Shit, please share your love ;) I'd (and I guess few thousand others) like to hear what it is. PS. Where do info on discog for Deep Shit Part 3 (010IR) comes from? -- antti l.

Ha! Just like I predicted. Now there's another one: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/The-KLF-The-JAMMS-DEEP-THE-CULT-OF-MU_W0QQitemZ2801604... and if there's really 100 pressed, we are going to see more of these. Damn I hate this money ripping. I've got nothing against bootlegs, but this and Love trance -episode is ridiculous. I still think this is fake too. -- al
