Happy Sunday for you all! Listening to the sheer beauty of the 6 mins 3am Original Mix from 005T and then skipping to the "Original - Edit" that is the first track on 005R I realised that the labelling is incorrect. Instead of an Edit of the Original Mix they put an edit of the "Break For Love Mix" on there. So actually there is no Original Edit and thus it's mislabelled. Do I get something wrong there? Has anyone else noticed that before? Still digging for more ... Danny --- a.k.a. Kuta, KLF Online (www.klf.de)
I have to admit I never noticed this, but that's totally right! What a scam! Guess the version on the White Room Soundtrack bootleg is the only proper edited version of 005T#1 then... or is it? I think John dug up another version on a compilation of sorts some time ago? ..::// Thomas Am 25.09.2011 um 17:54 schrieb Daniel Erlemann:

Yep, now we got it. The mix on the White Room OST actually is an edit of 005T/A and the "Original - Edit" from 005R is an edit of 005T/B. And Ulrik - when that flamenco version should surface someday you got my permission to name it however you want!! ;-) Danny --- a.k.a. Not me, sadly. I think I might have been the one to first notice that "3 AM" on "Warehouse Raves 4" CD/cassette is actually the KLF5T a-side mix (the production credit said "The JAMs" rather than anything from 1991), but sadly I've never found a compiled version of the edit. "3 AM Eternal (Original Radio Edit)" (KLF5R track one) also appears on a 1989 compilation CD/LP called "Vitamin E" - but it is, of course, the Break For Love Edit, and sounds like it's mastered (badly) direct from the 12". The vinyl of "Warehouse Rave 4" doesn't include "3 AM Eternal" at all by the way, only "what Time is Love?" On Sun, Sep 25, 2011 at 5:14 PM, Thomas Touzimsky <tto@klf.de> wrote:

I am pretty sure that the B Side of 005T is the Break For Love mix since it recreates/samples the drums from the same- titled track and 005R therefore features a "Break For Love" edit. The inofficial tracklist of 005T is still correct. Thomas

Good catch! One would assume the real original edit is the version on the unreleased White Room OST but just a guess. Dan On Sep 25, 2011, at 11:54 AM, Daniel Erlemann <daniel@klf.de> wrote:

Me again. Looking at the 12 inch itself again, there simply is no tracklist at all. According to discogs, the first mix has always been referred to as the "Original Mix", as the second has been named "1989 Break For Love Mix" by The KLF themselves on the SSL remixes. So the 005R label indeed can be right, taken that "Break For Love Mix" and the "Original Mix" actually are the same. But what do we call the 005T a-side then? Pure Trance Version? Confused, Danny --- a.k.a. Kuta, KLF Online (www.klf.de)

I prefer to reserve "Original Mix" for the Flamenco Version, and hope this one will turn up one day :) Can't we just call 05Ta for Remix 1. Ulrik

There is a version of the Blue Danube Orbital mix that appeared in the usual place. This one was ripped from an Orb remix comp. Better ears than mine might wish to compare this to the vinyl version. Dan On Sep 25, 2011, at 12:23 PM, Ulrik Brandt <onkelgerhardt@hotmail.com> wrote:
