Celebratring the 15th anniversary of The Orb's "Adventures Beyond The Ultraworld", their critically acclaimed first album will be re-released on July 3rd as a remasterd 3CD set. While it's not yet listed on neither Amazon nor HMV UK, the HMV Japan webshop not only got it in their catalogue, but also provide a full tracklist. The first two CDs are the same as the original UK issue, which featured many additional tracks that were dropped from the US single CD release. The third, bonus CD features a number of remixes and a Peel Session recording. 1 Huge Ever Growing Pulsating Brain That Rules From The Centre (John Peel session 1989) 2 Perpetual Dawn (Ultrabass II remix) 3 Little Fluffy Clouds (Pal Joey's cumulo nimbus mix) 4 Back Side Of The Moon (Steve Hillage's under water deep space remix) 5 Outlands (Ready Made's fountains of Elisha mix) 6 Huge Ever Growing Pulsating Brain That Rules From The Centre (Jimi Cauty & Dr Alex Paterson's Aubrey mix mk 11) 7 Spanish Castles In Space (Youth extended mix) The album listed on HMV Japan is labeled as European Import, so it should appear on Amazon and other shopping sites soon. ..::// Thomas

hmm, it's aubrey mixes minus a remix of "spanish castles in space" plus the peel session of AHEGPBTRFTCOTU. -- micah stupak micah@benthic.cc www.benthic.cc benthic recordings - soundings from unexplored places oblique strategy: (organic) machinery

Well, Aubrey mixes is pretty rare and expensive these days so this new release might be cheaper to get hold of than the original CD, so might be worth it, even with one missing track. J

oh yeah, it's still worth it, especially if you consider that (IIRC) aubrey was originally slated to be a triple album with the mixes as the third disc. -- micah stupak micah@benthic.cc www.benthic.cc benthic recordings - soundings from unexplored places oblique strategy: listen in total darkness, or in a very large room, very quietly
