Hi all, A few months ago i read about the new government licensing bill proposals/changes being brought in this year (uk and wales only) that will affect musicians and music lovers alike.Under the new law any performance of live music is seen as licensable. Under the old laws soloists/individuals and duo's could play weather the pub/club/bar had a license or not.Now everyone is deemed licensable.Licensee's could face 6 months in prison or a £20,000 fine as penalty for breaking the law.
