Well the edit i referred to is indeed track 2 on this old TWROST cassette, but i was curious as to why this wasn't included on the klf.de 'remastered' version of the album...i thought perhaps it didn't really belong on the album as it doesn't seem to fit somehow...any ideas Thomas? as you guys obviously left it out for some reason...

Honestly, the only two versions I am aware of is the original edit included on KLF005R and the mix that already seemed to be included on the old TWROST bootleg CD, which is almost identical but has Bill repeating Maxine's lines every now and then ("Sometimes I feel I almost know" etc) and that was the version that had been included on the studio DAT.

Could someone please upload that "UK Edit" so we can have a listen? With the DOWNLOAD section finally coming this month, I would be happy to host the file for the public.

PS - On another note, this cassette includes the 1990 demo version of 3AM amongst its 'bonus' tracks and i was wondering when this first appeared, as i seem to remember reading somewhere that the tapes for this were stolen in autumn 1990? or was it just abandoned?

One of the bootlegs lists it as "Aug 1990 demo", and I think that date should be quite accurate.
