Re: [KLF] Samplecity Thru Transcentral (jai nelson)
Thanks Jai, glad to see the list is still active after all these years...and that folk like Jai are still about! Keeping my fingers crossed that there will be the opportunity to buy/download the recently undeleted items. Is it me, or do they sound ‘beefed-up’ a bit? Remastered specifically for current modern digital listening perhaps?
Just watched through all the youtube videos. These are fantastic! the red head in the last train and America what time is love video someone of significance or just an extra? On Fri, Jan 1, 2021 at 1:03 PM Dj Hombre _ <djhombre@hotmail.com> wrote:

That is Cressida Bowyer - who at the time of those videos was Jimmy’s wife, and earlier was half of Disco 2000. I believe she’s credited with choreography on some of the videos and she was also involved in running KLF Communications. So yeah, not just an extra :) - - - - -

wow what a lovely surprise to see all these emails!! Hi everyone!! Will give the tracks a listen on Spotify once hubby has finished what he's watching. I told him about the comment that this might be the longest running fan email list - I said xmission is ancient - he said "it's justified and ancient" :) On Sat, 2 Jan 2021 at 10:35, Robert Stringer <rmstringer@gmail.com> wrote:

The videos were definently remastered, so I suspect that the music was remastered for today's sound systems. I've compared the Deezer streamed version of Doctorin' The Tardis with the original CD in Audacity, and the streamed version has more dynamic compression applied, and is clipped, so definately remastered. All the other tracks on SSL1 show similar clipping. I'll post a comparison on the FaceBook group Cheers, Mark H On Fri., Jan. 1, 2021, 8:38 p.m. Adam Wolfson via KLF, < klf@mailman.xmission.com> wrote:

Yeah, it's great to have the videos in good quality, even if the lack of third-generation-VHS quality makes them feel less like occult rites. 😂 -- Saga Söderback saga@iam.bi It is normal for me to take two days to read my emails and two more days to reflect on the matter and respond calmly.
