Hi folks .. Just a reminder that this email list is not private. Far from it! Not only is it open for anyone to join - every mail that is sent within it is published online for ANYONE to see on the web. For instance, here's Kjetil's original post on the FTP / Facebook subject: http://mailman.xmission.com/lurker/message/20131219.114259.b3307845.en.html This is not my group and I'm not criticising it - just reminding people as it's easy to forget just how public it is. That said - I suspect most people would welcome a more private group. Moving everyone might be a bit of a logistical nightmare though! Chris On 20 December 2013 09:23, <noisesur@mail.com> wrote:

I agree every posting is readable if you hunt for it and delve into the site. But the links we post are not searchable as far as I know when using google. Where as a public facing webpage with the FTP address on it will be. Anyway panic over. I believe only about 15 people had viewed the posting and it is now removed. Access to my FTP is open again. It is not pass worded. I would like to keep it this way for as long as possible. Okay, everybody lie down on the floor and keep calm. I'm glad to see my persuasion had some effect and he removed his post. Tom, thanks for keeping your FTP up; I really appreciate your efforts. May I have the new password to your FTP, Kjetil?
