Re: [KLF] KLF Digest, Vol 168, Issue 34
You can tell doctorin the tardis has been remastered on YouTube as it runs longer and the bits that are film are hd quality and the helicopter shots are clearly video so upscaled. Also lasts longer at the end compared to 1991 the work video Ben sent off my phone, so you know... typo central. On Sat, 2 Jan 2021, 03:30 , <klf-request@mailman.xmission.com> wrote:

I've compared the Deezer streamed version of Doctorin' The Tardis with the original CD in Audacity, and the streamed version has more dynamic compression applied, and is clipped, so definately remastered. All the other tracks on SSL1 show similar clipping.
I'll post a comparison on the FaceBook group

The videos were definently remastered, so I suspect that the music was remastered for today's sound systems.

Thanks Jai, glad to see the list is still active after all these years...and that folk like Jai are still about!
Keeping my fingers crossed that there will be the opportunity to buy/download the recently undeleted items.
Is it me, or do they sound ?beefed-up? a bit? Remastered specifically for current modern digital listening perhaps?
