PS. I used to work in the same building as Mark Archer from 90's rave group Altern 8. Should I now start touring as them?
did he wear that hazmat/radiation outfit to work, too?
No - but he did have a scent of Vicks Vaporub about him :) Actually, it was in 1989 that I was in the same workplace as he was , when I was doing my YTS Training in Stafford. A bit before himself and Chris Peat became fully Altern 8. And to bring it back on topic, there were a few similarities between Altern8 and The KLF/Jamms in terms of the publicity stunts. Altern8, one xmas, had plans to fly a hot air balloon across their hometown of Stafford, dropping frozen turkeys for the people who lived rough in the area. It was only when someone pointed out how lethal a frozen turkey is when dropped from 100ft that they abandoned the idea. Also, during the general election we had in the mid 90's, Altern 8 entered themselves in the Stafford elections, with the policy of having Speakers on every street corner and playing rave music 24/7! Plus, the infamous night inside Shelleys car park.. And we all know about the KLF/Jamms many stunts... Hi everyone, The Renegade ftp server now has a mirror and it is located at this address: ftp.klfcentral.com login - anonymous password - email address 10 user limited each is throttled to 20kbps per user Currently only the KP3 files are up and posted at this moment but we will be expanding this to also host the videos as well as the other KLF related files. Its also much faster, the KLFCentral mirror is on a 10mbps uplink from Hurricane Electric (He.net) so I can scale it to a full 100mpbs if needed. So how this is going to be structured is all new files will go to robert's site and all the archived files can be d/led from my site. All movies and videos will be xfered to this site also. So, a new folder will be placed on the renegade ftp server for all incoming files to be placed and sorted and then they will be sent to the mirror. Please remember that Robert and I donate the bandwidth and the space for this service. So if you would like to donate money for rackspace, bandwidth and/or hardware Robert and I would super appreciate it. Anyways so its online now so enjoy yourselves! - olav KLFCentral http://www.klfcentral.com

Brilliant! I sometimes experience problems connecting to Robs server, so it's good that there is another place to try.

Just remember, all new files will be loaded to my server and I will make a login for that folder. I am going to redirect all traffic to the new server for all the KP3 files. That will free up slots for videos and stuff like that. I will make 4 slots for new material and the old login will work for the videos. All KP3 traffic should go to:
ftp.klfcentral.com login - anonymous password - email address
All video and "other stuff can still use the /KLF Plus/ login until farther notice.
The login and pass for new material is /KLF New/ Same ip address. Thankx and this, in the end, will work better for all as I know that people get tried of trying to get onto my server and cant. This way, all can get this material.
