Craig Earnshaw:
I just tried to track a copy of the book down - it appears that you can buy it on Amazon.com for $15.75, but it isn't listed on Amazon.co.uk. Elipsis (who I think were the original publishers) now sell all of their titles through Chrysalis (sp?) Books, but therr website no longer lists the book.....Looks like I might have to order it from the US.....
Strange. I had no problems finding it on Amazon UK: <http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/1899858377/202-3415983-5843802> For what it's worth, I bought my copy (Elipsis, paperback, £15) in the Waterstones shop in Notting Hill back in June 2002. When I asked the girl working the counter for it, she went "Oh, THAT book! Yeah, I think we have it". Then, while punching away on the computer, she started talking about Gimpos whereabouts and whether Bill & Jimmy had done anything lately. Cheers, /Jan
Well, when I tried to order it late last year from Amazon, they (finally) came back with this reply: "We are very sorry to report that, despite our best efforts, we have been unable to source the following item: Chris Brook "K Foundation: Burn A Million Quid" We apologise for the length of time it has taken us to reach this conclusion. Until recently, we had still hoped to obtain this item for you. This unavailable item has been cancelled from your order. Your card has NOT BEEN CHARGED for this item. We aim to keep our catalogue as accurate as possible, but unfortunately there are occasions on which the information we receive from our suppliers may not be up to date. We apologise for any inconvenience such inaccuracies may have caused you." So, it might still be available, but it might not!! ;-> l8rs, Nick ;-)
