GTA is still "too much" for me. However, I'm a big mouse-breaker and heavy swearer when it comes to computer violence (by which I mean playing Diablo II on "players 8" mode...>:)) As for GTA: too much beating and anti-police behaviour...TOO bad...Diablo is much better: one good, strong chain lightning, some hydras and the whole screen is clear >:)
It's not violent, it's a computer game. It might get violent if you throw the controller at the screen (try playing Driver 3 for this result) =)

I've got a good few mates who are coppers and they love GTA to bits, especially taking out the Police helicopters with rockets. Of course, it all comes down to understanding where the pixels end and the Real World begins... :)

Exactly...a computer game isn't 'violent', it just represents violence which isn't the same as being violent of course. If you watch a Sherlock Holmes movie you ain't committing murder. If you watch the news you aren't committing genocide, destroying the environment, whatever. If the boundaries do become blurred there is definitely a problem though... But lets not deny people the ability to watch the news AND commit genocide. Or murder sherlock holmes. These are rights guaranteed by a higher power... and that man was Eli Whitney. I'm talking. -ecna- Simon Glass wrote:
