Has anyone got up a KLF wiki or thought of putting one up? Looking back through the archives there's so many scattered anecdotes and theories about KLFology and there's just a lot of information that it'd be great to have cross-referencing of and to have in an easily-digested version. I mean, you could fill a book with just speculation and backstory about Go To Sleep and LTTT, or about 3AM Eternal and WTIL, the various things that were sampled, and the songs that evolved out of it, and so on. It seems like a shame to have this stuff not all nicely intertwined. It would be a lot of work, but could easily be done incrementally, and using the back archives as a source for a lot of material. Just curious if anyone's tried doing this, or has an interest in doing it. Thanx, juli.

well, at some point in the archives you'll see the link to: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KLF

Having a page (or two, or five) on *a* wiki is not the same as having a KLF wiki. I doubt the wikipedia editors would leave a RitesOfMu page there, rather than just subsuming it into the main KLF page, for example. That said, I don't think a KLF wiki is a good idea. It'd be full of misinformation and lies put there by pranksters who think it's funny to confuse the issues and mislead people (i.e. me) jon -- "Everything to excess! Indeed. Some things, like Doctor Who, can get away with having such a wide-ranging type of coverage on Wikipedia, and I was initially thinking of doing that on Wikipedia for KLF (and related) but realized that most of the stuff that *I* am interested in is mired in apocryphal stories at best, and relates to stuff that was never released, rather than the mainstream stuff that's acceptable Wikipedia-fodder.

That's a very interesting point, and probably a bigger issue for KLF than for most topics :) Thanx, juli.
The Glossary on KLF 3.0 can easily be used as a Wiki-style information page due to its self-linking ability. I am on the run to catch my train right now, but I can explain how it works to you later. Am 27.11.2005 um 23:29 schrieb juli mallett:
