Hey all, new here - but I think I get the gist: Albums Only (is the order preference or #?): 1. Fluke/Syntax/2BitPie 2. UNKLE (easier with so few albums, but I have the pirate/bootleg pressed releases too...) 3. Orbital (would have all but am missing a few singles, though I do have 28 of the 30 fan- compiled/cleaned/released live discs) All (Albums and Singles) 1. Depeche Mode 2. Underworld (CD only - not all vinyl or promo) 3. KMFDM (up to Adios... didn't keep up after) And that's it for purely/mostly electronic (barring bands with very limited catalogues) Going non-electronic - I have massive Cure and Grandaddy collections (with the later being within 8-10 discs including all vinyl, known promo etc)... I know, sad [smirk] And hello, all. --- RMStringer <RMStringer1971@comcast.net> wrote:

Orbital Bedroom Sessions. WTF? Upload please! :-)
Looking through my collection, it makes me realise just how little "pure" electronica I own, at least in big discography-sized chunks.
Disobeying the rules, I would estimate that aside from KLF and related, my top three collections would be this:
(3) Guided By Voices (all CDs, but a small fraction of the boots out there, and I stopped by the Robert Pollard solo stuff a few years ago)
(2) Stephen Duffy (his entire career from 1979 to 2003, most 12"s, CDs and promos, plus a fair few boots)
(1) James (all CDs and vinyl commercially available in the UK, some promos, and lots of boots and radio sessions)

using Dan's rules:
1. Orbital 2. Soulwax 3. Air
also Phoenix, though they have progressively got less electronic! near misses are New Order (all singles up to and including 'Krafty', all 12" singles up to and including those from 'Technique'), Daft Punk (only missing 'The New Wave' first EP), Renegade Soundwave (missing 'Positive ID' though not difficult to find) and finally Disco Inferno & My Bloody Valentine (much use of samples. sequencers and drum loops latterly but not really 'electronic' acts per se)
tbc.

With your Orbital collection would you be including 'the bedrooms sessions' CD or not ? I had a fantastic Promo video of Orbital doing a live remix of Halcyon + On, one of my all time fave trax
only albums
(1) Morcheeba (2) Massive Attack (3) System 7
All Albums, all DVDs/Videos and a not quite all of the singles.
(1) Aphex Twin (2) Moby (3) Bjork
I am missing 1 album of St. Etienne and they have got a lot! yeah i know they are classed as pop.
so who has the most complete KLF Kollection ?

Only albums:
(1) Air (2) Plastikman (3) Alabama 3 (do they count as "electronic"?)
Albums and singles complete:
(1) Dr. Calculus (possibly cheating there, since
there's only one album
and three singles) (2) Orbital (3) Jam & Spoon (at one point, anyway)

But I would like to add new rules to our game. This is my top three list of electronic artists of which I own ALL albums AND singles:
Do you really own ALL singles? Or just each song ever released on a single?
