What made me think - Bill tells us that recorded music is dead, or it should be since it destroys the worth of music for being available anywhere at any moment, therefore being reduced from something to experience to something we consume without really paying attention to it.
And then he goes out and writes a book? I mean, books are around quite longer than recorded music is, and all the things he criticizes about the latter also apply to the printed word.
