Oh dear. Here we go again. I seem to remember a similar argument over the remix Kompetition emails only a while ago. We got around that by putting [KOMP] in the subject field of all relevant messages. Perhaps the same could be used here, but with [FTP] instead. That way, anyone who doesn't want the FTP emails can simply filter them out, and those who are interested can spot them more easily. Everyone's a winner. ok .. if it has really come to it .. i can host a seperate list .. but i URGE everyone to calm down about this. the people on this list who use the RM's FTP server only know about it because they heard about it on this list. to remove discussion about it from here is to deprive new KLF List users access to the FTP. yeah .. sure that's fine for us cos we've got a hold of everything we want now .. but i for one think RM's contribution and dedication to this list and its members is invaluable.
If i was him i'd be well pissed off right now.
